The first full day of Wealth Management EDGE included conversations with Joe Duran, former basketball star Jay Williams and much, much more.
From hard-hitting questions fielded during fireside chats and panel discussions to tech tours and demos, to a mojito bar, wine tasting and pool party, the first full day of Wealth Management EDGE 2024 had a little bit of everything.
Rise Growth Partners CEO Joe Duran kicked off the day by comparing national RIAs to wirehouses. He was followed by John Froese, director and head of banking and wealth management at Google Cloud, who emphatically said the tech giant was not coming for financial advisors. However, “AI is not going to take your job,” Froese said. Someone using AI will.”
The day also included a talk about artificial intelligence from Woodgate Financial’s Jason Pereira, discussions on impact and ESG investing and lots of talk about organic growth.
That doesn’t include the Elevate meetings and roundtables, mentor-mentee speed dating and much more that took place throughout the day.
Take a look at some of the highlights of day two of Wealth Management EDGE.
