LPL Financial’s Strategy Chief Exits After Under a Year
Ilan Davidovici, who served as LPL Financial’s executive vice president of corporate strategy, has left the company after less than a year in the role, the independent broker/dealer has confirmed.
Davidovici announced his departure on LinkedIn, saying he plans to take a break from the industry to spend time with family, travel and reconnect with friends and colleagues.
“I’m genuinely thankful for the opportunity to work alongside exceptionally talented colleagues who care deeply about advisors, clients and the future of our industry,” he wrote on LinkedIn. “Together, we explored important strategic opportunities and laid groundwork that I believe will continue to create value for the firm.”
Jen Roche, a spokeswoman for LPL, said the firm has not filled Davidovici’s role.
“Our strategic direction and priorities remain unchanged,” Roche said in a written response. “We have a deep bench of experienced leaders ensuring continuity as we continue to execute on our strategy and move forward with focus and momentum.”
Davidovici was hired by LPL in January to lead the firm’s corporate strategy team. He joined LPL from Edward Jones, where he was a principal and general partner, with oversight over client and branch experience management.
He had replaced Katelyn Shackleton, LPL’s previous executive vice president of corporate strategy and new ventures, who moved to Mercer Advisors last year.
