Charlottesville, VA – Juneteenth 2025, also recognized as Freedom Day, Jubilee Day, and Liberation Day, was commemorated on Saturday, June 14, 2025. The day’s festivities, which ran from 9 AM to 3 PM, marked the historic emancipation of enslaved people in Galveston, Texas.
