Charlottesville native Monica Richardson is taking her extensive journalism experience to a new level, becoming the Senior Vice President of USA Today’s award-winning newsroom. Richardson will officially take the reins on April 1st, bringing with her a 30-year career filled with accolades.
A seasoned media leader, Richardson boasts an impressive track record. She’s not only devised strategies for digital audience growth but has also spearheaded successful cross-divisional collaborations throughout her career. This expertise, coupled with her two Pulitzer Prizes and National Press Foundation Editor of the Year recognition, makes her a perfect fit for USA Today.
